Abilities and Choices is proud to provide Mi Via services across the entire state of New Mexico. From Farmington to Carlsbad and every small town in between, we are honored to support our participants and their families throughout our beautiful state.

What is Mi Via?

Mi Via is a Medicaid Waiver program that allows individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities to direct their own services with the guidance of others. Mi Via is about choosing self-direction in your home and community-based services, support, and goods within your approved plan and budget.

What is Mi Via In Home Living Supports?

In Home Living Supports is a personalized service that helps participants live as independently as possible in their own homes with the support of a paid caregiver. These services are tailored to teach and improve home living skills, while also promoting health and safety of the participant.

What is Community Direct Support/ Navigation?

Community Direct Support/Navigation is a fun and empowering service that gives Mi Via participants the chance to explore new activities and hobbies while making meaningful connections in the community. Whether it’s discovering social events, educational programs, or simply meeting new people, this service offers the independence to enjoy all the exciting opportunities around you, while having the support of a community provider/caregiver to guide the way.
